Sidney's first days at the hospital...

Watch Sidney's first video, "Bouncing Baby" - Nov 2005

Sidney's last few days in Portland before leaving for Arizona, January 2006. She laughs a lot in the morning, loves to stretch, stand (with help), and tries to imitate us (at least we think so). She's up to 10 lbs and is finally sleeping better at night. Definitely does not like having her picture taken though...

curiosity Sidney and JJ You can't see it, but she's proud when she's standing Sidney and Troy

February, 2006. Now in sunny AZ. Sidney's changing every day now - getting plump, smiles all the time, starting to laugh. We have a very good-natured kid on our hands...

She really took a shine to her new friend Gromit...

Sidney's almost 6 months old now. She rolls over (sometimes), sits up (kind of), and sleeps a lot better. She still likes almost all people, which made her first flight pretty fun for her. This is good news for our upcoming trip to Switzerland. Below, we have her first passport photo, her first flight (to Oregon, to go to Aunt Jar's wedding), and Sidney showing off some new skills.
first passport photo aren't plane rides fun? can you do this?

One year old, back in Prescott. Sidney is walking and starting to climb things. And she's very, very proud of herself. She also understands a lot of spoken commands, like "where's your nose", "where are your shoes", "where's Gromit", and "give Mommy a kiss". Here's a picture of her all dressed up at Thanksgiving and househunting on November 29th.
all dressed up I could get used to this

And also a video clip of Sid showing off her walking skills! I don't know how she stays on her feet, but she does...

May 2007, Sidney, Mommy and Daddy take a field trip to Beaver Creek to beat the heat.
